How Lesbet works
Lesbet is a peer-to-peer prediction platform. You and other users bet tokens against each other — whoever is right takes the pot.
Creating a bet
Anyone can start a bet on anything — sports, politics, pop culture, you name it.
Write your prediction
Give it a clear title like 'Man City will finish in the top 2 this season'. Add a description if it needs more context.
Set the stake
Choose how many tokens each player puts in. Your stake is locked from your wallet the moment you create the bet.
Choose max takers
Pick how many people can join — from 1 to 10. Spots are claimed first come, first served. No approval needed on your end.
Set two dates
A taker deadline — when joining closes — and a resolution date when the outcome will be judged. The bet only runs if at least one taker joins before the deadline.

Hit 'Join bet' and you're in — your stake is locked immediately. No waiting for the creator to approve you. First come, first served.
Bet locks automatically
When all spots fill, the bet locks into IN PROGRESS. If the taker deadline passes with at least one taker, it also locks. If no one joins by the deadline, it expires and the creator is refunded.
The pot
The pot is the total tokens at stake. Every player — creator and takers — contributes equally.
Formula
Pot = Stake × (Takers + 1)
The +1 accounts for the creator's stake.
If creator wins
The creator takes the entire pot. The more takers, the bigger the reward for being right.
If takers win
The pot is split equally among all takers. More takers means a smaller individual share, but you still profit as long as the stake is worthwhile.

Resolution & disputes
An admin resolves every bet after the resolution date — no self-judging.
Resolution date passes
After the resolution date, the bet moves to the admin's queue. No more changes can happen.
Admin decides
An admin reviews the bet outcome and declares the creator or the takers as winners. Tokens are distributed automatically.
Dispute if unfair
If you're a taker and believe the outcome was wrong, you can raise a dispute. The admin will review it again and may override the result.

Glossary
Quick reference for the terms used across the platform.
Token
The in-platform currency. No real money involved. Everyone starts with a free grant.
Stake
The tokens you commit when creating or joining a bet. Locked until the bet is resolved.
Pot
The total tokens all participants stand to win. Calculated as: Stake × (takers + 1).
Creator
The user who creates a bet. They set the topic, stake, max takers, and both dates.
Taker
A user who joins an open bet. No approval needed — joining is instant and first come, first served.
Taker deadline
The cutoff time for joining a bet. After this, no new takers can join. If no one joined, the bet expires and the creator is refunded.
Spots
The number of taker slots in a bet. The creator sets a max (1–10). The bet locks when all spots fill or the taker deadline passes.
Dispute
If a taker disagrees with the outcome, they can raise a dispute for admin review.
Challenge
A multi-question prediction event created by an admin. Each correct answer earns tokens.
